“Μelityros”
A kind of semi-hard cheese, ripened with honey. During ripening, honey is slowly absorbed up to the heart of cheese. As a result we have a kind of cheese with sweet and sour taste that accompanies cold dishes and fruit, whereas if it is combined with white wine, it leaves a wonderful aftertaste.
